Proposal[edit]
Hello. I noticed that you made a proposal. I saw that it looked incomplete, with brackets still in place, some misspelling, and only a single sentence for the summary of the proposal. The proposal is a vote proposal, which judging by the sentence you wrote already makes no sense, but none of the "options" explain any changes or even give a briefing on what it aims to do; they are just copied from the template except for the header and summary. When you first added the proposal, it actually cut into another proposal, which caused me to confuse the cut-out parts of that proposal for an extension of yours; I later fixed the error, moving it back up to its original proposal. As for your proposal, since it doesn't really show what it wants to do aside from a sentence, I recommend you edit it to explain it better or withdraw it. Thanks. Altendo 20:14, May 14, 2025 (EDT)
- Please adhere to this comment. I've recently axed another proposal of yours due to above issues, plus the issue is so minor that you should ask in a talk page instead.

Please stop formatting proposals incorrectly on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
You have four times made improperly formatted proposals, the last one having been a main proposal and having had no status quo option despite the comments of your previous proposals having told you how to format them, with issues like these being worthy bringing up on the talk page, whether through a discussion or a talk page proposal. I did see that you had added multiple options, but not only were neither of them status quo, but you had voted for both of them, which violated rules 22 and 5, respectively. I did notice that the quality of your proposals have improved, but the core issues remain, most notably each proposal starting with "Hey!", followed by a single sentence asking if something should be changed, instead of a deep reasoning for creating proposals and strong arguments to convince people to vote in support of them. I recommend you read the How to section of the proposals page before you make another one. Thanks. Altendo 19:27, May 29, 2025 (EDT)
- I have seen you make a new proposal. However, it is an idea that has been proposed (and failed) at least four times before. Therefore, on top of what I said before, I also recommend you read the proposals archive to see if previous proposals similar to ones you want to propose have already been proposed before, and if they have, you should not only acknowledge them, but also explain why voters should change their minds compared to those previous proposal (a similar idea proposed not even a month ago at least did the above two, even if they weren't enough to change people's minds on them), while you only wrote a single sentence again, not taking into account the previous proposals and their votes and comments leading to their failures or cancellations. Hi! I've deleted your recently created article, “Long Donut Block" because it was only a few sentences long. When creating articles, please add as much information as you can. Thanks! Sparks (talk)

Retirement[edit]
- Hey! I don't find anything interesting here. I'm retiring, and you can block me forever.--Wariowarefan100 (talk) 16:20, June 3, 2025 (EDT)
- I don't see why you would want to leave the wiki, nor "retire" after being here for only a month. If you want to take a break, that's fine, as you can always return here. If you don't want to edit anymore, just don't edit, and in case you change your mind, you can always come back. However, if you really want to stop editing here for good, look at this help page to delete your account; you cannot request to be blocked so they can take a break or leave the wiki forever. I personally don't think you should go ahead with account deletion, and I suggest the alternatives I mentioned before, but it's your choice to do what you want with your account. Warning[edit]
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (making proposals without strong arguments) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Your previous two proposals (the one linked above and your last one) continue to violate the rules of MarioWiki:Proposals. Said proposals only had surface-level reasonings for proposing instead of actually explaining how such a move would be beneficial to the community. Your Visual Editor proposal failed to acknowledge the previous failed proposals or explain why that proposal is different enough to gain support, while your latest proposal only had one sentence aside from the reprise of the proposal title, despite you being told to expand your proposals. I don't see any of your proposals having "a strong argument supporting your idea", nor do I see you "discuss it in detail with other users", especially after all of your previous proposals have either been vetoed or failed.
The Visual Editor proposal that was proposed before yours was cancelled, not failed, so technically, it's not a violation of rule 14. However, you should still be more aware of the context surrounding your proposals instead of creating a proposal the second you have an idea. In your latest proposal, you didn't acknowledge the FAQ, which shows how the current staff decide who gets promoted or demoted, and seeing how this proposal has wider implications than just removing a rule for proposals, it should have been put under the "Changes" section instead of "Removals", assuming nothing else about this proposal was wrong.
And yes. Both of your recent proposals had much wider implications than "making it easier to edit" or "increasing transparency". Voters of the former have explained why visual editor wouldn't be helpful, while voters of the latter have explained how promotion and demotion proposals would just cause chaos. You should think about the context of these proposals before you propose them, and how they might have wider implications than surface-level improvements, as even though they might make things better on the surface, they could really be harmful once they're implemented. Alternatively, if you have a proposal idea that you want to discuss first before making it a thing, you can share it on the proposals talk page and see how other users think about it before you propose, and even then, I only recommend proposing those if they gain enough preliminary support. Some of your ideas have also been minor enough to not require a proposal (as Xiahou Ba showed you above).
On top of your failed proposals, you have also announced "retirement" mere minutes after making a proposal, violating rule 15; that proposal failed, but if it did pass (that proposal had no votes when you announced your "retirement") you wouldn't have been there to implement it. These things by themselves are already an issue, but I have seen you violate multiple rules of the proposals page several times already despite my earlier reminder asking you to review them. Please review the rules (and other pages related to your subject) before you make another proposal. Altendo 15:39, September 5, 2025 (EDT)
- Heads up, the positioning of this warning was confusing, being placed before older comments, so I mistook it as an warning made months ago and accidentally left a last warning. While I'll look at timestamps before taking action, I do recommend these messages go in a new section to avoid confusion!
