First, you have to find a picture in this wiki. Or, you can upload a picture of something you like.
Once you're in the image page (after you click on the image or uploaded a custom image), copy the title, which is File:(YourPicture).
Place the image in your signature page you have created by putting two brackets ([ ]) around the File:(YourPicture).
Also, if the image is very big, try resizing the image by adding the |45px (it can be 50, 45, 30, or anything, as long as it's small enough): [[File:YourPicture|45px]]
Then, you should have something like this in your page:
Use the preview button before you save. It may help when the signature doesn't turn out right. Also, you can have only two images per signature (and try not to have them animated, since it's distracting).

Those funky numbers are actually what determines the color of the box. You can replace numbers such as "#77E0E8" to "green", for example. You can replace the "fan-2" in the code= parameter with a small image.
