Your recent edits in Donkey Kong Country's article concerning its soundtrack contains phrases that come directly from the sources you have cited and as such have been removed for plagiarism. In the future, please make the effort to rewrite the text in your own words. - RHG1951 (talk) 22:49, August 19, 2025 (EDT)

I've looked at the last reverted revision, and while there is some attempt at rewriting, you're still using phrases directly taken from the sources:

the Glenn Miller Orchestra and the raucous big band music from around the time of World War II.

accordion-led sea shanty.

Wise had picked up two or three CDs of sea shanties, along with an album of barrel organ tunes, for inspiration.

It started off as a breakup song. Although no one is really meant to hear them, all of Wise’s melodies have lyrics

catchy tunes, simple instrumentation, and pop-inspired harmonies

This also includes using the same adjectives the authors used as their own way to express their impressions:

galloping rhythm on the drums

raucous big band music

and quoting Wise's quotes the same way, when they can easily be incorporated another way, like mid-sentence (for example, you can say "Gang-Plank Galleon, which Wise described as 'sea shanty-meets-Iron Maiden' [...]"):

"That set up my career," he said.

"It's basically a sea shanty-meets-Iron Maiden," Wise said.

The statement about Gang-Plank Galleon being inspired by Nine Inch Nails' "March Of the Pigs" is also not accurate; the author only compared the two since they had the same time signature, and didn't say that it inspired it.
Keep in mind that simply changing around words and phrases isn't enough (patchwriting, which is still considered plagiarism). You should be writing in your own words to begin with and incorporating the sources where necessary, not writing around the sources. (EDIT: You should also not be writing another author's thoughts as if they were your own or as fact, like the line about "dissociation and alienation" which you neglected to mention came from someone named William Cheng. If you're quoting someone else's words, use quotes, but that doesn't mean everything should be quoted either.) Ashley costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 02:21, August 20, 2025 (EDT)
Thanks for giving me an idea of what needs changes. I'll fix that in my next edits. Sargent Deez (talk) 08:31, August 20, 2025 (EDT)

There were also some concerns with how you're sourcing your information on Fit's, in addition to the notes I made in my summaries. You cited this blog post but did not refer to it at all; it also does not mention the price and discontinuation date, which the reference was tagged next to. You also didn't provide sources for Mario's gum being the most popular ginger ale-flavoured gum or Luigi's gum being less popular than Mario's. Finally, you shouldn't say "most praised" the gum when there's no evidence of this, while only citing two sources.

Please make sure all information is accurate and referenced properly, and don't add info that's unconfirmed. If you can't find something to back it up, leave the info out. Ashley costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:33, August 22, 2025 (EDT)

I used the blog post to reference the interior being that of the character's color, since it's the first source I found that showed the inside of Luigi's flavor. I added it before the gallery. As for the discontinuation date, it doesn't seem to be known, but it was before 2016 based off archives from Fit's website. The others were assumptions so that's my bad. I saw more video coverage of Mario's flavor, for example. Thanks for cleaning the page up! Sargent Deez (talk) 00:40, August 22, 2025 (EDT)

Consecutive edits

Hello, Sargent Deez. When editing, if you'd like to see how your edits affect a page, use the "Show preview" button next to the "Save changes" button. This allows you to check over your edits for any errors and make any additional changes or fixes before you save, which will prevent edits from flooding the page history and recent changes. (If you are on mobile, make sure to check the preview page thoroughly before proceeding to save.) Please try to avoid making excessive, consecutive edits to a single page within a short timespan and instead limit them to as few as possible.

Please avoid making excessive, consecutive edits to a single page, especially in a short timeframe (I've also noticed you make an edit and then immediately revert it). Use the preview function or plan out what you want to change before publishing the edit. Ashley costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 10:33, August 25, 2025 (EDT)
