The Tokushi Gibusu are exoskeletons made out of springs that Yosshīdamusu gives to the Mario Brothers in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 4.
In order to get them ready to face Bowser in a rematch, Yosshīdamus gives Mario and Luigi the Tokushi Gibusu, explaining that they will unlatch from them once they will be physically ready. While wearing them, Mario and Luigi are fighting with the springs to not have their limbs rigid. After beating the Star World stage, the exoskeletons are still attached, so Yosshīdamus opens the way to the Special Zone. Near the end of it, the Tokushi Gibusu ding and release the Mario brothers, and they are physically strong enough to beat an army of Sumo Brothers blocking their path.
