Hello, all of you readers of The 'Shroom! Mentally, I am lying underneath some damp pile of fallen autumn leaves and feeling a crisp, cool breeze pass over me as a cold drizzle falls upon the landscape. Physically, I'm sitting at the computer, typing these notes while uncomfortably warm. Fall may just about be here, but it sure doesn't feel autumnal. It's still hot, dry, and bright. Luckily, The 'Shroom changes to its fall background at this time of year no matter what the temperature is outside, so at least here I can live in my illusionary autumn...
Talk of seasons aside, we've been plugging along in the community. Awards season retreating in the rearview mirror doesn't mean the fun stops! We've had a few games and tournaments going on still, though you can read about those in Anniversary Announcements in Pipe Plaza. I've been fairly involved in many of them, myself, and it's been a great time. Just like the rest of the community, we've kept moving along at The 'Shroom, which is why I have the pleasure of announcing a new addition to The 'Shroom's staff! We have brought RHG1951 (talk) on as a Spotlight Manager. With a history of adding Spotlight templates to pages, helping to complete Spotlight goals, and his experience as wiki staff, he'll be handling putting a spotlight on projects in need of attention on the wiki! Please give him a warm welcome, and reach out to him with questions or suggestions regarding Spotlight!
Speaking of happenings here at the paper, time sure does continue its endless march forward, doesn't it? We're only two issues out from issue 200 now! I'll have to tell Blocky to paint over the hundreds digit on the big sign outside the HQ, soon. We're still accepting special submissions for issue 200 (they close November 11th), so you still have time to get your submissions together and send them in! Head on over to the sign-up page and follow the instructions in the yellow box! Or, if you want an even simpler explanation, just write up what you want to submit, and send it to our Statistics Manager, Meta Knight through a private channel! It's that simple.

Hello there, 'Shroom readers! We're back for another issue, it's fall sort of, there's sections and you can read them...
Okay, I'll be real with you guys, there's not a whole lot going on right now! Pretty much everything is prep work for Issue 200, and you should listen to what Pitohui said and submit some sections for it! No spoilers, but I've seen what some of our writers have already submitted and I can tell you it's going to be a lot of fun!
Anyway, on the subject of no news, Pitohui told me I could, and I quote, "go nuts", so here you go.
My apologies to any 'Shroom readers with a nut allergy.
