This theme is an arrangement of Rambi's theme from Donkey Kong 64, and because this arrangement is not recurring, it should be merged with the original theme, per our current recurring theme policy. However, the original version of Rambi's theme currently lacks an official name, and per this proposal, only musical themes that are either recurring or have an official name can get articles. So unless there's something I'm missing, this article should be deleted, or at the very least turned into a draft in PipeProject:Music, similar to what happened to Greenhorn Forest's theme from Wario World. Well, as far as I'm aware, since it's an arrangement with an official name, and the original doesn't have an official name, the official name for the arrangement can be used for the page for the original in the same way we do with themes such as Piranha Plant Pipeline, Tokyo Blur, etc. I do agree that this should probably be shifted to a draft though, until it can be updated to be about the original theme. So, if someone with the ability to move the page could do that, that'd probably be ideal over deleting it. Holiday 2022 artwork of Luigi IanD255, but older (talk) 06:42, August 26, 2026 (UTC)
Per MarioWiki:Article naming#Musical theme titles, the name of an arrangement can be used as the article title, so long as the name makes sense as the name for the original theme, hence why "Piranha Plant Pipeline" currently uses the name of an arrangement despite the original theme lacking an official name, as "Piranha Plant Pipeline" is a perfectly suitable name for a theme that plays in Piranha Plant Pipeline. "Racing Layer: Rambi Rumble" is not a suitable name for Rambi's theme from Donkey Kong 64, as there is no subject in that game called "Racing Layer" or "Rambi Rumble". Ah, I see. In that case, it'd probably be best to have the page's focus shifted to Rambi's theme as a whole and moved into a draft until a suitable official name for Rambi's theme is available, or the theme reaches recurring status (though, that likely won't happen anytime soon). Move[edit]

The policy regarding musical theme articles in MarioWiki:Article naming#Musical theme titles has been updated by staff so that non-recurring musical themes that lack official names can now have articles. Because of this, I think it only makes sense to refocus this article to be about Rambi's theme from Donkey Kong 64 in general instead of solely the Donkey Kong Bananza arrangement, similar to what happened with Bowser's Coming!
