Rename[edit]
Shouldn't this and all other Circuit themes be renamed to "Game Circuit" (e.g. GCN Circuit, GBA Circuit, Wii Circuit etc.), because this theme isn't just Yoshi Circuit, it also belongs to Mario & Luigi's Circuits.
So, imo, all the Circuit themes should be renamed to "Game Circuit".

- Well, GCN Yoshi Circuit is the official name used (such as on Nintendo Music), and official names are preferred over conjectural names (even if said official name comes from MK8 hence why Yoshi was chosen specifically). Technetium (talk) 11:41, June 9, 2025 (EDT)
Move to Luigi Circuit (Mario Kart: Double Dash!! theme)[edit]
| This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit this section or its subsections. If you wish to discuss the article, please do so in a new section below the proposal. |

"Luigi Circuit" is the official name given to the theme's arrangement in Mario Kart World's 1.4.0 update, and since all of the other circuit themes use the same names as the first race course they play in (e.g. Luigi Raceway (theme), Peach Circuit (theme), Figure-8 Circuit (theme)), I think it's only logical for this theme to follow suit, as Luigi Circuit is the first course in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! where the theme plays.

Comments[edit]
Shouldn't the page title be "Mario Bros. Circuits"? That's the name given for the original version of the theme (not an arrangement) in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, and per naming policy, the name for the original version of a theme takes priority over arrangement names. (This will of course be rendered obsolete if and when Mario Kart: Double Dash gets added to Nintendo Music, but who knows how long that'll take.) - That's actually another factor as to why I suggest using "Luigi Circuit" as the name instead, as judging by how themes that play in multiple courses have been handled on the Nintendo Music app, they're most likely gonna have Double Dash's circuit theme separated into separate songs to represent each track. They did the same thing with Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart 7, so I see no reason as to why they wouldn't do the same with Double Dash. And with those games' circuit themes (Luigi Raceway (theme) and Toad Circuit (theme)), we use the name of the first track, so I believe "Luigi Circuit" would be the better name for the sake of consistency. - While it's true that will probably happen if and when Double Dash gets added to the app, we shouldn't be guessing official names based on patterns. An official English name for the original version of a theme should be the highest priority for article naming, and "Mario Bros. Circuits" is the only such name we have here. - I guess that's fair enough. In that case, should I cancel this proposal and just move the article to "Mario Bros. Circuits" without any further discussion needed due to policy? It doesn't have a past edit history, so moving it there should work just fine. (That's actually the main reason I made this proposal in the first place, as I tried moving it to "Luigi Circuit (Mario Kart: Double Dash!! theme)" beforehand, but it didn't work because it already had a past edit history.) - Yeah that should be fine. Hewer (talk · contributions · edit count) 03:39, December 12, 2025 (EST)
