I'm not super privy to the application of our derived names policy, but shouldn't this page be titled "King Fat Guy?"
There's also a few other Shy Guy related pages I have similar questions about:
- Zombie Big Guy

- Submarine Shy Guy
- Burner Shy Guy
- Coin Bag Shy Guy
- Acorn Shy Guy
- Skall Shy Guy
- Fly Shy Guy (Not to be confused with Fly Guys or Beezos.)

I do recall a line on Mecha Nokonoko (Mecha Koopa Troopa)'s talk page about how the rule is "generally more intended for "post-standardization" things," which could possibly rule out Unnoticed Shy Guy, Submarine Shy Guy and King Fat Guy, but since they still follow the basic naming schemes of other Shy Guy "variants", I'm not sure if that would be applicable in this case. - Frequency of the adjective is important too. Generally "King" is used for bosses in this franchise, not simply large variants, and most of the others you listed are completely unique. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:14, January 30, 2026 (UTC)
