Title. I get that Key Mini Mario is holding a key, and therefore it isn't a literal key. I think that from a gameplay perspective, the fact that Key Mini Mario in every appearance except for Minis on the Move starts the level with the key, and the inability in any game for the key to be separated from the Mini Mario, implies that as far as the internal logic of every game in the series except for Minis on the Move is concerned, Key Mini Mario is the key. And if this character is the key mechanically, then Key Mini Mario is relevant to have in the listing of keys we have on the wiki. Especially as some members of that category are in it for functioning like keys rather than being keys, like Golden Coin, Lock Block, and Stingler. Salmancer (talk) 14:23, July 30, 2025 (EDT)
