Count Bleck's Castle

That's what I posted. I just wanted to show everyone what the castle looked like without its shadow. Unless if you have a Model and Texture Ripping Software, providing a example of an Un-silhouetted version of Bleck's Castle is impossible. --LTIan (talk) 23:21, 1 August 2016 (EDT)

In-game, just before beginning Chapter 8, Merlon states that the castle is located within The Void itself. However, as this article used to mention, Castle Bleck can still be explored in its entirety after completing the game*, after The Void has closed. The Void also seems to be destroying the castle itself during the story, as noted by certain dialogue, and the increasingly frequent tremors, which make me question Merlon's claim even more. Do any of the alternate languages say anything different about Castle Bleck's location and ultimate fate? (*Except for the wedding chapel, but that's a cutscene-only room, so it probably doesn't count.) Wandering Poplin (talk) 21:04, January 27, 2026 (UTC)

Arguably it's even more straightforward in Japanese. Merlon says "Within that dark space lies the Dark Castle where Count Bleck lives." Castle Bleck does persist after the Void is closed, so given that the Void is still visible in the background upon traveling there (and uniquely so among all worlds), I am inclined to treat this interior of the Void as a space that continues to exist, in a similar sense to how a hole can still hold things in it even after being sealed shut. That dark space may also have existed even before the Void was opened, given the Void-looking dark portal Count Bleck uses to bring everyone to Castle Bleck in the intro. That said, since the castle tremors stop in the post-game, and the Void has closed in the skies of other worlds, perhaps that means it's "dormant" or something to that effect. However it works though, I'd say the castle's definitely meant to be inside the Void. Drake Inferno (talk) 20:51, April 3, 2026 (UTC)
