Name[edit]
Is he ever actually called Bluster KONG rather than simply Bluster? I only recall the latter, but I've hardly seen the whole show. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:16, March 23, 2026 (UTC)
- You don't normally call your friends by their full name, don't you? Same logic here. And yeah, he is called Bluster Kong a couple of times through the series. I can't pin point some exact moments, but he is called "Bluster Kong", notably when he talks big of himself or proposes Candy to become "Mrs. Bluster Kong". I'll do some checking just to be sure (it helps that me and my friends are doing an Italian fandub, so I'd have to check anyway).
Mariuigi Khed 21:26, March 23, 2026 (UTC) - Should be noted that Japanese publications and media, such as Super Mario-kun and Donkey Kong Card Game, have in fact named Bluster by the full name of ブラスターコング Burasutā Kongu.

- True that, but we are more concerned on the English side of things, but I got some examples already:
- "Barrel, Barrel... Who's Got the Barrel", from a business card "Bluster Barrel Works; Bluster Kong, President."
- "From Zero to Hero", from a flyer "Bluster Kong Memorial"
- "Get a Life, Don't Save One", he says "From this day forth, I, Bluster Kong, do hereby solemnly swear an oath of allegiance..." and "...but I, Bluster Kong, will be there..."
- Case closed?
