There are several other instances of bells as an interactive hanging object. Donkey Kong 64 has some in the Fungi Forest minecart stage that open and close gates (green and red-colored, respectively), Super Mario Sunshine has a cluster in Bianco Hills that drop items when sprayed or hit with a waterwheel-like gimmick beneath them (not to mention the giant ones in Delfino Plaza), and Super Mario Galaxy has The Bell on the Big Tree. Think we could convert this into a general generic bell object page? The other bells are mostly items or specific bells, though I'm not sure whether the SML2 checkpoint and/or ending bells should remain separate. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 11:21, July 26, 2025 (EDT)
