Scrolling Block Screen[1] is the second pattern in Alleyway, which contains moving lines of blocks. Every line in a stage with this pattern can move independently of other lines in either right or left, as well as have different speeds. Some lines do not move at all. The blocks on the edge of the field loop around and reappear from the other side. Both breakable and unbreakable blocks may be affected.

After the stage with this pattern is completed, the next stage has an Advancing Block Screen pattern.
