Mario's Tennis marks the first appearance of "Doubles 1". Additionally, a different version of the track plays when the game is paused, as with every other gameplay track in the game. Oddly, this version does not appear in Nintendo Music.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, an arrangement of "Doubles 1" is part of the "Mario Tennis / Mario Golf" track along with the title themes from Mario Power Tennis and Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. This arrangement can be played on the Mario Circuit stage.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the "Mario Tennis / Mario Golf" arrangement from Super Smash Bros. Brawl returns and can play on the Mario Circuit (Brawl) stage.
