False positives for "missing romanization"[edit]
Currently, there are two articles that are marked as having "missing foreign name romanizations" even though they shouldn't:
- Mario City, that has the Japanese name "MARIO☆CITY"
- Breaking Through (Heart of Gold), that has the Japanese name "『Breaking Through (Heart of Gold)』" and the Chinese name "《Breaking Through (Heart of Gold)》"
This is because they use Latin letters with non-ASCII punctuation and symbols. This can be fixed by ignoring the following ranges of Unicode characters that don't contain characters that need romanization:
- U+2000 to U+2BFF (UTF-8: 0xE2 0x80-0xAF 0x80-0xBF) for various symbols and punctuation, which includes "☆"
- U+3000 to U+303F (UTF-8: 0xE3 0x80 0x80-0xBF) for CJK punctuation
