Mario Kikyū
Mario Kikyū
Appears in Super Mario Kodansha manga ("Mario faces off against the evil president Bowser in the future in a final showdown!") (1992)
Effect Carries two people upward

The Mario Kikyū is the sixth of seven inventions made by Dr. Mario Nakamatsu that he gives to Mario in the "Time Traveler" story arc in the Super Mario Kodansha manga. It is a helium balloon an artwork of Mario (seemingly, is cover artwork from Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels), and capable of carrying two people upward. Before being deployed, it is contained in a small button with a "6" (or a "B") on it.

While Bowser is distracted by Chibi Peach damaging the central computer on the upper floor of the Daitōryō Kantei, Mario rescues Princess Peach and activates the Mario Kikyū to float both of them upward and rescue Chibi Peach, by surprising Bowser with a kick from behind.
