Kame Slugger is Magikoopa's turtle-shaped aircraft that he uses in Super Mario World! Yoshi no Tamago of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. Its face bears a slight resemblance to a Mechakoopa.
To avenge the disappeareance (and presumed death) of Bowser, Magikoopa goes around with the Kame Slugger to destroy Mario and friends' beloved things and people, starting from Mother Yoshi on her deserted island, by baking Bob-ombs in explosive enemies with which bombard the island, destroying Mother Yoshi's eggs in the process, hidden in a dark cloud.
When Yoshi recieves an SOS from his mother, he goes with his friend to rescue her. First he eats the falling enemies, then inhales the cloud, revealing the aircraft. By inhaling the cloud, Yoshi starts floating and, using the figurehead's guns, Magikoopa kills him. Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach uses the eggshell to sandwich the enemies and resurrect Mother Yoshi's babies. When Mario goes to resurrect Yoshi from a giant egg on top of the island, Bowser (brought in chains by the heroes) tricks Mother Yoshi to free him, takes her hostage and climbs onto the Kame Slugger, then uses the bladed-ridge of the figurehead to break Yoshi's egg, but by sandwiching the two eggshell with the remaining enemies, Mario resurrects Yoshi in winged form, and he destroys the aircraft, sending Magikoopa flying, and forcing Bowser to gran the Koopa Clown Car hidden in the figurehead to escape with his hostage.
