The Hurricane Shot is Billy's special skill in Super Mario World! Mario Open Golf, and a precursor of the Special Shots.
Billy is infamously known for being so strong that with the right speed, he can summon a literal tornado to carry his ball to another place of the course. He first uses it against Luigi and Daisy after they tossed their balls at his nostrils, almost killing Luigi as he tried to protect Daisy from the powerful blow. The wind is so strong that a gust arrives to another course of the Golf Club, pushing Tony in the water.
While going against Mario, Billy shows off his Hurrican Shot by Hole-in-one the second hole of the Hawaiian Course. On the third and last hole, Yoshi Kart passes Mario a Super Kinoko Matsutake Version to become Super Mario and use the strength to match Billy's. Using a palm tree as a club, Mario summons a Typhoon Shot, Billy tries to stop it with another Hurricane Shot, even powering it by rotating his arms in his own tornado, but ends up tearing a muscle and faints, breaking his ball and letting Mario score a winning Hole-in-one.
After regaining consciousness at the Mushroom Kingdom Hospital, Billy decides to help Mario from the hospital bed by summoning a Hurricane Shot and sending it to the UK Course, where Mario is facing off against Bowser. Thanks to the tornado, Mario is able to surpass a wall and wins by kicking his ball in the hole, beating the Koopa King.
