The Great Bōeigun Kichi is the HQ of the Great Bōeigun created by Luigi that appeared in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 7 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.

It is a Yoshi-shaped island that is located in the sea of Mario City. Inside the island there is the hangar where the Yoshi Bird are stored. In the chapters, the island is briefly seen in the first and second ones: first, Mario and Yoshi escape from Super Mecha Koopa using an escape chute in Mario's office (something Mario was not aware of) that leads to the underground secret meeting room, next to the hangar, where Luigi and they retrieve the Yoshi Bird 1-gō. In chapter 2, the three are seen checking kaiju activities on the computers, before finding one in the Mushroom Kingdom.

In the introduction, however, a full map of the area is illustrated, showing also the rest of the activities and features of the base: the chute can also lead to either an underwater dome to better see the fishes, or the Famicom Room, with all the released game consoles and titles. A hot spring above the hangars, which Princess Peach takes for herself, forcing the others to use the in ground pool on the surface, where the control room is. A fake waterfall pouring from the Yoshi's mouth covers the exit area of the Yoshi Bird, and buoys shaped like Dolphins and Mototin are the hidden radars and reserve communication antennae, respectively.
