Game Screenshots[edit]

Now really, do we need all of those screenshots? Fawfulfury65
You're jealous, no ?? Your screenshots were in bad quality. Super Luigi 64

No, I could care less. I'm glad you found better ones, actually ;) But we don't need every sing escreenshot in the whole wiki in that one gallery. If someone needs to see all the screenshots we have for SM64, they need to go to the category for them. Fawfulfury65

Ok, I understand. Super Luigi 64

I don't see a problem, infact good job on the images SL64. Just don't go off like that, the "You're jealous, no ??", makes you look bad, and arrogant etc. Anyway, he more images we have, the better. People who haven't played the game or people who are looking at elements from the game can see many of the things from the game. Now im not saying overload it with like the entire map of one course, but screenshots of areas here and there, enemies, power-ups, etc. all are fine. Other games like SMG2 have almost the same amount, so yea. Super-YoshiMust...eat...sig...Talk? C???
also, glide64 ;) Super-YoshiMust...eat...sig...Talk? C???
I'm not saying that we shouldn't have a lot, but there are just way too many here, even more than on the SMG2 gallery. We don't need every image for readers to see what certain things look like. I mean, there's like six images of Tick Tock Clock. I'd say we only need one or two of those for someone to see what the stage looks like. Fawfulfury65

Redo Screenshots Section[edit]

I've noticed that there are many screenshots and some of them aren't even linked to the 15 courses (and pages for each Power Star), castle hub, or secret courses. For the time being, would it be a good idea to purge the section and tag the section with {{construction}} so we can sift through Category:Super Mario 64 Images, delete unnecessary ones, and rebuild using linked images on main articles? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 01:21, 8 February 2017 (EST)

You mean going through and finding the ones that aren't linked to from anywhere other than the gallery itself? I'm all for that. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 11:41, 8 February 2017 (EST)
Yup. Screenshots being linked from the gallery page only. Only exception to that is images in Category:Opening Screen Images, Category:Ending Scene Images, and Category:Title Screen Images shouldn't be examined. Maybe the first step is to organize images by location instead of having an unorganized cluster of them? Then we remove links (and maybe have Porplemontage (talk) purge the cache of Special:UnusedFiles manually). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:42, 8 February 2017 (EST)
The good thing is is that there aren't a lot of screenshots to look through in this gallery. But there may be some in Category:Super Mario 64 Images that weren't included. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:58, 8 February 2017 (EST)
I already began getting the screenshots better organized. Soon the appropriate sections will have been added and the current screenshots be divided appropriately. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 18:37, 8 February 2017 (EST)

"break dance kick"[edit]

Should this kick really be named the "break dance kick"? Unless the name is official, it should probably be changed. It sounds awkward, how about the spinning kick, or something similar? For anyone who doesn't know, the caption is in the Sprites and Models section. Marioguy (talk) 11:14, 5 May 2017 (EDT)

Missing Artwork[edit]

You guys forgot this one. I found it on Supper Mario Broth. 7e097aa1dbf8b9e5d85761c4b65ffebad7b34b3c.png I'manumber1 (talk) 23:16, January 22, 2022 (EST)

Katsugikun[edit]

In the files of Super Mario 64 this official render of an unused enemy was found! Check it out, it's on tcrf.net! :D 150px-SM64_katsugikun_render.png I'manumber1 (talk) 18:36, February 21, 2022 (EST)
