The Standard Quad is a type of quad to be introduced in Mario Kart 8. The Standard Quad is seen as a counterpart to the Standard Kart and Standard Bike as it is balanced in stats. Like Standard Bikes, Standard Quads perform similar to Standard Karts stat wise as lightweights have better handling and acceleration while heavyweights have higher top speed and weight.
