To access this level, the timer must end with the two digits '33' (that is, 'x33', where 'x' can be any number) when the player reaches the flagpole of any World 3 level. Once the level is completed, it can be accessed again by satisfying the above condition once more.

Mario begins on an island in front of the pipe. Entering it will shoot Mario to the sky. He will first land on a moving yellow platform, where coins begin to shoot up from below like a fountain. This is followed by a Coin Roulette Block. More coins begin to be shot out where two [[10 Gold Coin]]s and one [[100 Gold Coin]] fall from the top right corner of the screen. This is followed by two Coin Roulette Blocks and one large Coin Roulette Block. Finally, more coins will be shot out, marking the end of the level.

Mario begins on an orange platform at a beach. The level is mainly made up of hills of sand. Cheep-Cheeps that jump out of the water first appear here in the game. A ? Block containing a [[Super Leaf]] can be found here. Floating [[Barrel]]s follow, which sinks when Mario is on it for too long. A [[Gold Ring]] appears here, which make coins follow behind Cheep-Cheeps. More Cheep-Cheeps follow, along with several more barrels. A row of [[Brick Block]]s can then be found, one of them containing a [[? Switch]] which makes coins to be released from a green [[Warp Pipe]] above. Another is a multi-coin block. Another hill of sand follows, along with the checkpoint. Rotating platforms and [[Piranha Plant]]s begin to appear. Another Gold Ring can be found on several orange platforms, along with more jumping Cheep-Cheeps. After that, two ? Blocks appear, one of them having a [[Super Leaf]]. Following that is another set of rotating platforms with a Piranha Plant on one of them. A Coin [[Roulette Block]] can be found above a pipe with a Piranha Plant in it. One last Gold Ring appear, with more Cheep-Cheeps along the way. Finally, a green Warp Pipe leads out of the area. In the last area, there are stone platforms and several more Cheep-Cheeps which can help Mario reach the top of the flagpole not far away.

Game New Super Mario Bros. 2
Level(s) 12
<< << List of worlds >> **

World 3 is the third normal world appearing in New Super Mario Bros. 2. This world is both beach and jungle-themed, although the map music is recycled from World 4 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which is a beach-themed world. The world is also similar to World 3 from New Super Mario Bros. This world is unlocked after completing World 2-Castle or World Mushroom-Castle. The first half of the map is located at the seaside while the second half is located inland, where the jungle is, although the levels can take place between any of the two locations regardless of its position on the world map.

There is a total of twelve levels and three Toad Houses (one of each kind) in this world, making it the longest world in New Super Mario Bros. 2, tied with World 4. This world has a total of fifteen exits. Of the twelve levels, eight are levels on the main path. Of these levels, five are normal levels, one is a Ghost House and the other two are the Tower and Castle levels. Of the remaining four levels, two of them are normal levels (one is a secret level), one is the Warp Cannon level and the last is the Rainbow Course. The world's boss is Wendy O. Koopa, who is fought at the Castle. However, the player can avoid fighting the bosses in this world by taking the world's Warp Cannon, leading to World Flower.
