Paper Mario description A smoothie made by Tayce T. Restores 20 FP.

The Special Shake is a food item that can be found in Paper Mario. It looks like a portion of green juice in a glass, with a pink bent straw in it.

Making this recipe solely requires a Melon from Lavalava Island, though mixing a Melon with a number of other items (such as a Koopa Leaf or a Honey Syrup) will produce the same result. Additionally, a Special Shake can also be made by mixing a Jammin' Jelly with various other items (including a Melon); however, this is unadvised as a Jammin' Jelly recovers more than twice the Flower Points than a Special Shake does, resulting in a net loss. Whichever option Mario chooses, bringing the item(s) to Tayce T. will make the Toad chef cook a Special Shake. Special Shakes are recovery items, and as such they are usable both inside and outside of battles. Using one replenishes twenty FP.
