RE: Peach x Bowser wedding

The Super Mario Adventures comic and Do You Princess Toadstool Take This Koopa...? both involved an attempted wedding between the two. Super Paper Mario was the first game where this happened, but it was nothing new. Aside from forced weddings, Bowser wanting Peach to marry him actually dates back to as early as Super Mario Bros.: Peach-hime Kyushutsu Dai Sakusen!. In particular, the original Paper Mario is a good example of this motivation appearing in-game.

Basically, Bowser wanting to marry Peach is just one of his character traits, so the Odyssey wedding probably wouldn't be a reference to Super Paper Mario. That would be like saying Luigi being scared in a spooky area is a reference to Luigi's Mansion. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 14:32, September 19, 2019 (EDT)

Sorry for the delay......

Sigh... Here's the thing, I actually don't hate SPM, at least not anymore. In fact, I don't even know why I had such an ire on it in the first place. I will say I'm not a huge fan of Luigi being brainwashed & Mario fighting him, but other than that, I was much younger back then, & I guess I just didn't have the level of appreciation to understand what or why it is. I'm older now, & have a much more open mind than I did back then. Heck, I willing created a few SPM themed userboxes without showing any disrespect towards the game as well. I'm a busy guy most of the time (Going to college, chores, game completion, raising Pokemon, cooking, etc) & I usually don't have much time to clean up my userpage.
