Hello. Please be patient, I will answer your questions this week. Thanks. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 17:42, 5 October 2009 (EDT)
Okay, here are some facts:
*I'm male.
*Before I made my first edit, I already surfed the Wiki for a while. I was happy that such a website exists, since the ''Mario'' series is my favorite video game series, and one day, on April 22, 2007, I finally decided to join.
*At first I made a lot of minor edits, such as linking, adding categories as well as image licenses. But I felt that the ''Wario'' series (in general, not just ''WarioWare'') was really underrepresented in the wiki, so I made my first major edit on the article Hoggus, a ''Wario Land 4'' enemy. Later, I also created the article on the German Club Nintendo magazine. Time Q continued the latter work but writing the articles on the comics.
*Afterwards, almost all my major edits have been on ''WarioWare''-related articles. Even though the series already begun in 2003, I started playing through the various installments that were available at this time in 2007. I quickly became a fan of the series as well as of its characters, but most ''WarioWare'' articles at this time were poor, and I wanted to change that.
*I don't just edit ''WarioWare'' articles, though, but articles on all kinds of games at the wiki, including relatively obscure games I have never played, most notably ''Captain Rainbow''.
*On October 26, 2008 I was promoted to sysop status. I think because I have made a notable number of article improvements, including articles that were long-neglected, namely the ''WarioWare'' characters.
*It's hard to tell if I have "favorite users," as I don't attend user talk pages often. But I think I'm on good terms with Time Q, he is probably the user I talked to the most. I also get along well with Birdoshi, I had a few ''Mario Kart Wii'' matches with her which we arranged on our talk pages. I find the other two German users Cobold and Edofenrir likable, too, even if I haven't talked to them that much. (I don't know how these users think about me. ;-))
*Besides ''Mario'', I'm also a big fan of the ''Kirby'' series.
That's it for now, hope it's enough. :-) --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 12:37, 9 October 2009 (EDT)

Revision as of 12:37, October 9, 2009

This is an archive of past discussion. Please do not alter it in any way.

Welcome to Marioguy1's talk page! Leave a message at the bottom of my talk page and I will respond on your talk page ASAP! I do this so that you know when I have responded and you don't have to keep checking my talk page for my response - please help me by bringing your conversations to my talk page if so I know when you've responded.

My talk page rules are:
1. Keep your messages simple. I am fine with messages. I am fine with long messages. I am fine with images, colours, templates, userboxes, etc. However what I am not fine with is an overload of those things. Use your judgment as to what to post.
2. Please try not to be rude. If you want to yell at another user, don't - it's probably better for the both of you.
3. Don't try to keep a topic near the top of the page going while the bottom of the page has more topics piling up, add a new one.
4. If you must swear (I don't see why because that would conflict rule 2), censor it even if it is a quote.
5. Don't keep nagging me about things, if you've put it on my talk page I will respond, if I haven't responded chances are I haven't been online.
6. If you want to be my friend, add a message on my talk page. All friend userboxes will go into my userpage in the expandable section. If you don't have a userbox, I'll use your initials as the coding for a blank one.
7. If you have a request for me to do something, fine. If you disagree with something I said and want to debate it, fine. But please don't post a message complaining. If you have a reason to complain, I can understand. But if you're just complaining, then I will ignore you.

RE: Revert on the Peach Article (Mario Power Tennis stuff)

In regards to that, way ahead of ya, man. ;) The taunts from Peach in the game still don't need a mention, but I did clarify further about her involvement in the trophy ceremonies (under the Mario Power Tennis section of her article)... including the case of when Peach herself wins singles tournaments. --M. You are good man!

Thanks for improving my Puff article.

Categories

Why are you adding enemy categories to everything. Not all Thwomps are enemies. For example, Ms. Thwomp is an ally.--Knife (talk) 00:36, 5 October 2009 (EDT)

King Boo

The King Boo article was protected some moments ago to end a massive attack of a troll. I think it will stay protected for a while now, until the article is safe again. - Gabumon from the Digimon franchise Gabumon(talk) 00:11, 6 October 2009 (EDT)

Re:Promotion

Thanks :) Yeah, I remember that day very well. You had asked me to move articles and help you with confirming your email, right? I am definitely glad I did. I am rushing right now, got to go to school now. Talk to you later. · SMB (Talk) · 07:11, 6 October 2009 (EDT)

I don't really see it...

How will your proposal help this wiki with NA rule. Give me a very good reason that will make me switch me vote. That's all I am doing. I would support you, but you got to tell me why it would be good without that information. Baby Mario Bloops

Personal

I know this is really late to say but even though I uploaded the baby rosalina pic. I made it for Monteyaga. Can you make that pic Monteyaga's personal image.

Userpedia

  • You asked me about my history with the Mario Wiki. Let's just say that I ran into it by coincidence. However, I found this coincidence to be good, seeing as I'm well familiar with the Mario Universe in general. Because of that, I decided to do whatever is possible to improve the articles here.
It has been over a year since I started doing these things, but so far, not too much changes have been needed for the articles. Nowadays I just check back every now and then to see if something gets messed up and fix it.
Sorry if this isn't much since I can't completely remember how I found this place. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 12:30, 9 October 2009 (EDT)
