Puchipuchi L

Have you checked in the Advance 3 Guide? Is there any mention of the Puchipuchi Ls in Hookbill the Koopa's Castle? They appear in a secret area, where you get a red coin upon defeat both of the two. --  FanOfYoshi 12:01, 14 September 2018 (EDT)

Ps: You can answer to me in my talk page even when i am offline, i would check when i am online. And forgot to say, it's in the english guide. --  FanOfYoshi 13:41, 14 September 2018 (EDT)
So, then, what's the English name given? Does it gives it a specific name, or is it simply called Milde? --  FanOfYoshi 03:57, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
For Huffin Puffin, i voted support because of relevant different Languages, appearance of the chicks, adult being killed upon stepping on it, and chicks also functionned differently. --  FanOfYoshi 13:42, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
Ps: Personally, i think for the Thwomp to be merged only if the Japanese name is different. --  FanOfYoshi 13:45, 15 September 2018 (EDT)

Rainbow Tap-Tap

Hey, i was wondering if the Japanese guide for Yoshi's Topsy Turvy (if you have one) makes any mention of the Rainbow Tap-Tap. They are found in the second phase of the final battle. Does it give it a proper name, or just call them Tap-Tap without the word "flashing"? --  FanOfYoshi 10:44, 20 September 2018 (EDT)

Since you can go to interfile names, do you own Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island? what is the pallete's code for the Caged and Dangling Ghost? And what's the codename for respectively The Potted Ghost, Caged Ghost and Dangling Ghost's faces? --  FanOfYoshi 13:08, 20 September 2018 (EDT)
Speaking of Japanese names, how have you found out that Koryaku is unofficial? For Gurindai, i found out that the Japanese name source comes from a Koryaku Guide. --  FanOfYoshi 11:38, 21 September 2018 (EDT)

Yoshi Shogakukan

Hi! I presume you're the one to go to for reading/translating Japanese text? So I found several tweets containing pretty rare scans from the Shogakukan guide for Yoshi, particularly a story containing various dinosaurs (including a tall, unknown yellow one). Could you provide a translation of the story? Thanks! --Zootalo (Talk)

Bowling Goonie

Hey, i see that you know many Japanese names, and you are a pro at Japanese. My latter question is here. Also, i'm sure they appeared as enemies themselves without being first Hefty Goonies, and then spat out. --  FanOfYoshi 13:05, 27 September 2018 (EDT)

Dark Horse has failed us, they pulled another Arts & Artifacts "remove all accents" thing. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:15, 9 October 2018 (EDT)

While I was expecting shenanigans of some sort, I wasn't expecting them to sink lower than the Arts & Artifacts practice. That's at least somewhat justifiable, but this is just ridiculous. What happened to the Hyrule Historia team? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:08, 23 October 2018 (EDT)

Internal filenames

Interestingly, you can go in the Yoshi's New Island internal filenames, this may be useful for Model Ressource in which there are missing models. Such as the Chick Ravens, Ukikis, Tap-Taps, Harry Hedgehog etc... Well, what's the codename for the texturing that use Dangling Ghost and Caged Ghost for their faces? --  FanOfYoshi 04:45, 25 October 2018 (EDT)

SMBE findings

Hi there! I saw on the proposals page your very detailed examples of the enemy names taken from the mario wiki. I wanted to add them to the book's wiki page (as I added the section there originally), but I dont want to directly copy your own findings. Do you think you could add them? ~ Qyzxf (talk)

SMBE JP SML2

Hi, I was wondering if "Furiko" and the individual names for the Three Little Pigheads have any basis in the Japanese version of the guide. Can you check that for me? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:37, 4 November 2018 (EDT)

Raven

So since the proposal failed, should we move that page to "Big Kyutyan?" Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:12, 5 November 2018 (EST)

Spike Top artwork

Then why was it in all those other shogakukan that were before any other games featured them? Official art for a game isn't necessarily concept art for said game, anyways. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:18, 13 November 2018 (EST)

Squeaks

It was originally disambiguated for the original Quawks design's fan name. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:27, 13 November 2018 (EST)

Still, since Quawk's page was originally there, our current redirect policy says it should stay as a redirect to it, as it's been heavily revised. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 07:31, 18 November 2018 (EST)
It was updated because many other sites link here, and we don't want them going to blank pages if something's moved. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 08:11, 18 November 2018 (EST)

Baby Cheep Japanese names

Have you found any Japanese names for the Baby Cheep? The article doesn't mention the Japanese name, and i've asked the question in the talk page a few months ago, but no one seemed to answer me. --  FanOfYoshi 10:58, 18 November 2018 (EST)

Does Dolphin emulator works for internal filenames and model ripping? --  FanOfYoshi 01:14, 19 November 2018 (EST)

Commas and name citations

"Had" a certain administrator? Which one would that be? If it's a certain specific one, I might not pursue the issue for the time being. Though honestly, I think my way looks better regardless, and I'm pretty sure I've seen multiple admins change it to the way I do it as well; that's actually why I started. RE:Spear Guy (toy)

Yes. The help menu in my version of the game calls them so. -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 13:36, 21 November 2018 (EST)

So far, the only elements with different names in the PAL version are Shy Guys (Spear Guys) and Polterguys (Phantom Guys). Their quotes are slightly different between versions too. I don't know if other quotes are different though, because I don't know how they're written in the American version, but it's very probable since the American text tends to refer to Mini Mario at singular whereas the European version only refers to the toy at plural. -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 16:28, 21 November 2018 (EST)
