Status Problem

<gallery> tags

Hello 22fiftyseven. Is there a way to change how the <gallery> tags function - like say change it's default function from creating 4 in a row into 5 in a row? It would be beneficial to very long gallery pages, saves some of our time, and it actually fits under the resolution of 1024 X 768; even if some of the galleries like Gallery:Super Mario 64, and Gallery:Super Mario Galaxy 2 already have that "manually" functioned with <gallery perrow=5>. I mean come on, you guys somehow forced those galleries to place itself in the center/middle of the page without even using the <center> tags - which I find surprising!
