Template:Spmenemybox Ultimate Mr. L, also called The Black Lightning, is an evil clone of Luigi created when Bowser invented a cloning machine, hoping to make an army of Bowsers. However, he ended up zapping Luigi, creating a new Mr. L with power over electricity and machinery. This creation became known a Ultimate Mr. L. His current whereabouts are unknown, but he has been rumored to be hiding out on the Super Mario Wiki, making edits to articles in the and acting mild mannered and business-like on Talk Pages to avoid suspicion.
History
In the Marioverse
When Bowser created a cloning machine, the Mario Bros. went to stop him from using it to create an army of Bowsers. They arrived just as he was about to use the machine on himself. Thinking fast, Luigi leaped in front of the beam to stop it from reaching Bowser and ended up creating an evil clone of himself, who called himself Ultimate Mr. L, the Black Lightning. Ultimate Mr. L revealed powers over electricity and machinery, much to everyone's surprise, and easily subdued all witnesses of his creation, before leaving Bowser's Castle to wreak havoc.
Ultimate Mr. L began using his powers to steal and generally cause trouble. When Mario and Luigi finally caught up to him, they discovered that he had built a giant robot he called the Broblaster. Mario and Luigi were able to beat the robot, but Ultimate Mr. L escaped into the Internet.
After a long search, they found him and his new robot, the Broblaster 7.0 (he had adopted an interest in the number 7 because it looks likes an upside-down L). They defeated the transforming robot, but Mr. L was mysteriously teleported away. He found himself in Dimension D and met a shadow form of Dimentio. Count Bleck was correct. Dimentio had left behind a shadow of his power, literally. Dimentio claimed he wanted Ultimate Mr. L's power. A battle ensued between the two and Ultimate Mr. L emerged the victor. He then proceeded to absorb Dimentio's power, destroying the magician. The Black Lightning used his new power to transform Dimension D into his own dimension, the Ultimate L Zone. He then decided that he wasn't a common thief anymore. With his power, he should rule all dimensions.
Mario and Luigi found him vandalizing on the Super Mario Wiki. A battle ensued and when Mr. L saw that he was losing, he took his enemies to the Ultimate L Zone, increasing his stats and making him invincible. Mario and Luigi were able to break his shield by using his own power against him, but the Black Lightning escaped. Where he is now is unknown, but teams of Toads and Flip-Flop Folk are searching websites like crazy.
In Real Life
I have been obsessed with Mario since I was 6 years old. My earliest memory of him is watching my mom play Super Mario Bros. on Wii Virtual Console when I was 2 years old. Some of my favorite pastimes are playing Mario on any system and making up my own Mario games and typing them up, as well as typing up info about existing Mario games (I started that before I found the Super Mario Wiki). I found the Super Mario Wiki several years ago, but didn't visit it regularly for a while and didn't join until about a week ago. Right now, I am on a mission to improve articles pertaining to Super Paper Mario, as I have found countless errors in those. I won't be taking friend requests because I like to have met someone in person, not just in Cyberspace. So if I turn down a friend request, don't take it personally. I also won't give out my real name, age, address, etc.
General Information (Marioverse)
Appearance
Ultimate Mr. L looks similar to the original, but always has green and black, electrical aura around him, as well as glowing green eyes.
Powers and Abilities
When first created, Ultimate Mr. L could shoot electricity and manipulate machinery, in addition to the Super Jump. It is completely unknown where these abilities came from. After absorbing Dimentio's power, he gained many of Dimentio's abilities, including teleportation, flipping and manipulation of dimensions, plus enhanced versions of his own powers. While in the Ultimate L Zone, he is invincible unless enough enough of his own power is used against him and he has upgraded stats.
