Is his name pronuonced M-C Ballyhoo or Mc Ballyhoo? Sorry if this belongs on the forum. Max2

It's probably "M-C", considering the capitalization of the "C" and the fact that he's a Master of Ceremonies (what "MC" stands for). YELLOWYOSHI398

Definitely M-C. If it was supposed to be Mc as in McGraw, it would have been spelled that way, I would think. Ugh... I wish there was voice acting in Mario games for that reason. --Stumpers

Ballyhoo just looks somewhat similar to Chuck Quizmo with his large lips and hat. Chuck Quizmo is a worm-like being, while Ballyhoo has a humanoid body with arms and legs, they aren't the same.
