Main quote of Jimmy T.[edit]

What do you think would be a good main quote for the top of the article? Maybe you even know better ones than the quotes in the article. --Grandy02 16:43, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

No answer? Well, I would favor one of these two quotes, rather the first one:
  • "Yo-yo! Everyone got the fever? I've always got it! That's because the dance floor's hot!" - WarioWare: Twisted!
  • "I'm on fire tonight! Check out my killer moves. They're larger than life, just like my hair." - WarioWare: Twisted!
What do you think? --Grandy02 15:11, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
The first one pwns. Mario riding YoshiXzelionETC
Agree.

Thanks, I've added it :-). --Grandy02 15:20, 23 August 2007 (EDT)

What's under his wig? And the main quote should be his motto, which is "Live big, spin big" which he said in Warioware Twisted User: Mecha-Boss Unit

Name[edit]

Shouldn't the name of the article be "Jimmy Thang"?

Articles tend to go with the most common name rather than the full name. GreenDisaster 20:21, 13 March 2012 (EDT)

Origin of Thang[edit]

Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but what exactly was the source for "Thang" as full surname? It doesn't seem to appear anywhere in the games or manuals, so I'm presuming it was probably an old official website. LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:26, January 13, 2022 (EST)

I see the Chinese surname being sourced at least, though that one leads to a dead website. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 17:46, January 13, 2022 (EST)
That's pretty useful: with some extra help from Internet Archive and Ruffle or something similar, the Chinese Touched! website is still accessible, and if you do a little navigation to the character profiles, you can see that the citation is indeed accurate! This means that it is most likely translated from the English equivalent, though I don't have luck getting that one to work for me. This FAQ indicates that "Thang" may have been a thing before Touched!, so if there is a working version of the Mega Microgame$! or Mega Party Game$! website, I suspect that is where a proper English citation can be found. Another thing: in Japanese WarioWare: Get It Together! at least, you can clearly hear Jimmy T. announce his full name as 「ジミー・サング」(Jimī Sangu, "Jimmy Thang"), while the English version just uses "Jimmy T". LinkTheLefty (talk) 09:46, January 18, 2022 (EST)
