The "Star Key" Reappear in "[[Mario Pinball Land]]" as a necessary object to pass the next World. The "Star Key" is obtained when [[Mario]] beat a boss from a World. To enter the [[Bowser Castle]] and Beat [[Bowser]] to rescue [[Princess Peach]] Mario should have 4 "Star Keys", one from [[Petey Piranha]], other from [[King Tut]], other from [[Cheep-Cheep Pufferfish]] and the last one from [[Big Boo]].

The Star Key is obtained by defeating Gloomtail in the Palace of Shadow in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. This makes the eight pedestals appear in the top floor of the building where Mario must solve eight riddles, each with a Pedestal Key. Getting all 8 pedestal keys will unlock the secret path to the Shadow Queen's throne room.
