After spawning grab the hammer and hit the two fires beside you to obtain one of Paulines items. Jump over the bow bow, and climb to the top. Jump off to the right to obtain another item. To obtain the [[Extra life|1-Up]], simply jump on the bin to reach it. Next, jump onto the Bowbow and wait for it to walk to the platform containing the key. Pick up the key, and throw it to the above platform. Quickly climb the ladder, and grab the key again. Time the jump onto the moving platform so Mario will not hit the electric spark. Jump from the moving platform to the platform containing the door.

Layout

Mario spawns on the left side of the ground platform right under a Hammer, and next to a smaller platform with two fireballs guarding one of Pauline's lost items. To the Left, there is a Bowbow. On the next platform, there is another Bowbow and a Bin, which can be used to reach a [Extra life|1-Up]]. Above and to the left is the platform containing the Key to the next level.
