The SUPER MARIO BROS. 25th Anniversary Special Sound Track PRESS START Edition is an arrangement album included in the Super Mario 25th Anniversary Commemorative Book (スーパーマリオ25周年記念ブック) published by Enterbrain. The commemorative book was released in celebration of the Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary and featured an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto and contained many other Mario-series related articles and content.[2]
The album features three arrangements of various Mario-series songs originating from Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Galaxy, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii respectively. The arrangements were performed live at PRESS START concerts in Japan and were performed by the Tokyo City and Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestras. The Super Mario 25th Anniversary Commemorative Book with the bundled SUPER MARIO BROS. 25th Anniversary Special Sound Track PRESS START Edition album were released in Japan for ¥840 JPY on December 9, 2010.[2]
