Peach Parasol is Peach's up special move in the Super Smash Bros. series. It serves as a recovery move as well as doing small amounts of damage. She leaps up into the air while holding her Parasol, damaging any opponents on contact. It hits opponents several times in a jump. Once her parasol opens, she starts gliding. The parasol can damage enemies on contact with it when Peach glides. Furthermore, Peach can close her parasol to fall quickly and reopen it at any time during flight. The parasol in Super Smash Bros. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, if this move is used while Peach is holding the Parasol item, the animation remains the same, but she uses the parasol item rather than her actual parasol.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Daisy has the same up special move as Peach, known as Daisy Parasol. Her parasol is orange, reused from Peach's alternate color in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U.
