  • 1-Up – Same as an Extra Life.
  • 1-Up Mushroom – A green mushroom that awards an Extra Life.

  • Big Eight – a conjectural term that groups the major characters of the Marioverse: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Wario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Toad.
  • Blocks – Blocks can contain coins or even power-ups in the case of ? Blocks. They usually need to be jumped from underneath to reveal the goods.
