Koopa Troopa Trick

In World 1-2, Mario must step on the rectangular ? Block behind the first Koopa Troopa and go to the Koopa's direction. Stepping on it right will make the shell hit the block and the wall quickly. The plumber must jump in the shell and will jump on it several turns, and get many 1-Ups. In World 4-1, Mario can do the same thing in the water pool area.[1]

Goomba Trick

In World 2-4, the player must go with a Super Leaf to the first Template:Conjecturaltext. There, he/she must jump on a Goomba and flutter jump in the air until another Goomba be launched and be stomped. Making it several times without touching the ground results in infinite 1-Ups. This can also be done in Special 1-3, On the Goomba area.

Pom Pom Trick

In any level where she is fought, Pom Pom must hit the ground after being hit. In this time, Mario must jump on her and continuously hop on the shell, gaining lives in the process. [2]

Template:Conjecturaltext

In Special 1-1, As Small Mario (although not required, works better with), the player should ground pound the edge of the log. After a few tries, the log will be crushed but the statue leaf will float, and a coin will fly through it.

Template:Conjecturaltext

When Mario or Luigi jump into the air above a platform, their shadows pass through the platform and reach the ground.[3]

Template:Conjecturaltext

In World 4-2, the player must jump in the bouncy platforms near the end of the level. When Mario jumps in the far left platforms, they will crosses the ground and back instantly.

Template:Conjecturaltext

When Boomerang Mario enters into a Toad House, he must throw a boomerang and quickly leave the room. The Boomerang will disappear near the door.

Template:Conjecturaltext

In any level with a Template:Conjecturaltext, Boomerang Mario can throw a boomerang right as he enters the Template:Conjecturaltext, and it will not disappear. That leaves Mario to having to wait at least 5 seconds for it to fly back to him. This also applies to Mystery Boxes found within levels.
