Jammin Through the Trees is level 5 of World 3 in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
The level begins on solid ground, right next to an Egg Block. Purple Yoshi may re-stock on his eggs if needed. After jumping, the Yoshi will land on ground made of yellow substance that will be broken by eggs or Ground Pounding, therefore Yoshi must be very careful here. This area is teeming with enemies, including Grinders and Potted Spiked Fun Guys, as well as Short Fuses and Seedy Sallys (sub-species of Grinders). Yoshi must avoid or eat these in order to get past. Once he has passed one Grinder, two Grinders with watermelons and one Short Fuse, he will reach a second Egg Block. He can re-stock eggs if needed. By breaking the wall on the right, he will reach a tulip. The player must grab the Seedy Sally and throw it up into the tulip in order to obtain a few stars. Yoshi must continue, grabbing the two coins (that are red) and hitting to Winged Cloud to obtain a Flower. Yoshi will then see a third Egg Block, continuing to an area where a new enemy - Gusties - come in. The player must use an egg to break the wall and obtain the second Flower, stand on remaining wall a shoot an egg upward to obtain 2 yellow coins, one red coin and reveal a Winged Cloud containg stars. He must then jump to the next concrete block and shoot an egg back to obtain three more coins, one of which is red. He must keep walking, following the red arrow.
In this next section, Yoshi must jump onto the first Pinwheel and obtain the five coins - two above and three below. He must continue, grabbing the coins above the red Flatbed Ferry, until he reaches the Middle Ring, accompanied by an Egg Plant. Next, the player must jump onto another Pinwheel, being extremely careful not to fall, as there are spikes below. The player must use eggs to obtaib all the coins, then jump onto solid ground, where there is a pipe spawing Shy Guys. Re-stock eggs here. Yoshi must keep walking, falling into a small gap and making a Winged Cloud appear. He must hit this with an egg to make stars appear. Yoshi should keep walking, then do a Ground Pound on the log until it is one-below level with the rock on the right. Shoot an egg at the Flower. Next, Flutter Jump down the next gap (safely land on one of the rocks) to obtain the coins. Jump back up and continue until you are directly above the forth Flower. Shoot an egg at the wall and it will rebound and hit the Flower. Continue on your way.
Use the Egg Block below in this next section to re-stock eggs. User the trees to make your way up to a Wild Ptooie Piranha. Hit it three times with an egg or watermelon seeds and grab the two red coins above it. User the same techique to kill the next Wild Ptooie Piranha and the Fly Guy carring the 1-Up. Jump on the next two trees then turn around and jump onto the shorter tree below and grab four coins, including the last two red ones. Next, eat up the Shy Guys that spawn from the pipe and the Seedy Sallys, also killing the Short Fuses then hit the Winged Clound to reveal more stars. Keep walking until you reach a tree with two watermelons and a ! Switch. Grab a melon and jump on the switch and quckly run back, climbing up the trees while gathering the coins. Kill the Shy Guys and jump on the rocks, then jump on the trees with the Short Fuses beneath them. Jump start down and grab the lst Flower with an egg, then jump back up. Jump on the rock and then down oto another tree with a red Shy Guy on it. Keep jumping down until you reach the Goal Roulette.
