• 1-Up Mushroom – an item frequently encountered in the Super Mario franchise that grants the player an additional life when collected.
  • 1-Up DX, a type of 1-Up Mushroom found in the Mario & Luigi series.
• 1 UP Heart – an item that grants the player an extra life in Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and Donkey Kong on the Game Boy.
