The Daytripper (also known as the Royal Racer in the PAL version) is a medium-sized vehicle found in Mario Kart Wii. The kart resembles an old-fashioned coach in the shape of a curled slipper. Due to the Daytripper's appearance and US name, it might be the successor of the Light Tripper from Mario Kart DS.
The Daytripper has a good handling rating, along with a good acceleration, off-road, and mini-turbo. Its weight is also decent. However, its speed and drifting are comparably low.
How to Unlock
The Daytripper can be unlocked by winning the 150cc Leaf Cup.
