Check and X Barrels are a special type of barrel that appears in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The Check Barrel helps the kongs while the X ones do the complete oppisite. In a few levels with a Skull Kart, these appear in, and they are important among these levels. In Target Terror, the act as switchs to gates that are in the way. In Haunted Hall, they can be touched in order to get more time to get safe from the Kackles that are chaseing Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong.
