Originally, Planet Bomber was used as a bomb creation facility, with a major factory located deep under the surface. The original Bombermen were a race of robots, forced to be eternal slaves by their creators. In order to manufacture the best quality bombs possible, the Bombermen were made to fight for the right to continue to exist. Bomberman himself won this competition, and was hailed as the best bomb maker in the factory.

Bomberman eventually grew tired of continuously making bombs and doing nothing else. Luckily, he heard rumors that if a Bombermen were to escape the factory and reach the planet's surface, he or she would be granted a wish. Bomberman manages to outwit and evade the factory's security guards, who would risk their lives to keep the factory running. After a long and grueling journey, Bomberman managed to break free of the gloom and into the light of day. As a reward, his wish to transform the Bombermen into their present form and free them of their slavery was granted.

It is assumed that an evacuation was made to the surface, where the Bombermen now live in peace, for the most part. A number of villains have attempted to conquer the planet, but all attempts have been thwarted by Bomberman.

Sometime during this peaceful era, Wario somehow gained entry to this unsuspecting planet. Upon entering the world, the greedy character wanted to make the planet's riches his own. Wario, along with an army of False Warios, attempted to loot Bomber; however, their efforts were stopped by Bomberman and an army of Bombermen. In the end, Wario was expelled back to Mushroom World, and Planet Bomber returned to peace.

it:Bomberland
Climatically, Planet Bomber is very similar to Earth. It has a blue sky with white clouds, green land and blue oceans. The surface of the world appears to resemble the face of a Bomberman, with the face and eyes being land, while the rest is oceanic. Planet Bomber also has one moon, often seen positioned behind the globe of the world in a similar place as to where the bauble on the end of a Bomberman's antenna would be.

Bomberland[1] is the setting of the game Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman!

History[edit]

Bomberman series[edit]

The location of the NES Bomberman game was an unnamed underground compound, which was the reluctant home of the original bomb-producing Bomberman robot until he was encouraged by a rumor claiming that robots escaping to the planet's surface become human. The planet was depicted as Earth, but the setting was eventually revised as Planet Bomber, one of many locations in the Bomber Nebula. Within the series, Bomberland is the name of the setting of Super Bomberman[2] and Bomberman Wars,[3] although they appear to be unrelated.

Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman![edit]

Wario finds an extra-dimensional portal that links his world to Bomberland, where he plunders the area's people and treasure. He is resisted by Bomberman and several Madbombers.
