How I came to the wiki

At the start of 2009, I was relatively into Mario stuff. I decided to make a class list to put on the door of my classroom. Mushroom style! While searching the web for adequate pictures, I discovered two wikis that offered a picture of an NSMB-style Super Mushroom. One was the Mario Kart Wiki. It was a decent source of information on the Mario Kart series, but it suffered from various problems [including one editor who had slapped false links all over the place] and I eventually gave up on it in favour of the other - the Super Mario Wiki.

I looked over the wiki from a guest position until I came across something out of place. The pages on Triple Bananas and Green and Red Shells said the reason for their removal from the Mario Kart DS online mode was unknown - when on the Mario Kart DS page it stated that it was because items could not be equipped! I made an account and fixed it up immediately. Since then I have been patching links, fixing typos and shrinking the list of orphaned pages wherever possible.
