Bubba
Bubbas are big fish with shades that will eat Mario if he gets too near them after a while. Like most aquatic enemies in Super Mario 64, it cannot be defeated. If Mario is eaten, he will die. They appear in Tiny Huge Island on Super Mario 64. They look and act very similar to Boss Bass from Super Mario Bros. 3. Bubba appears to be a species of Blurp. Related to them is the small Bub fish. In Super Mario 64 DS, Big Berthas took the place of Bubbas.
Additionally, stepping on a Happening Space on Yoshi's Tropical Island, a gameboard in Mario Party, would make Bubba switch Toad's and Bowser's position.
Bubbas are also in Super Mario Sunshine. In this game, they drag Mario down to the seafloor. Strangely, if Mario is holding a Fruit, they can't grab onto him. They appear in Gelato Beach, Noki Bay, Delfino Airstrip, and The Bottle.
