Peach Parasol is Peach's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. It serves as a recovery move as well as doing small amounts of damage. She leaps up into the air while holding her Parasol, damaging any opponents on contact. It hits opponents several times in a jump. Once her parasol opens, she starts gliding. The parasol can damage enemies on contact with it when Peach glides. Furthermore, Peach can close her parasol to fall quickly and reopen it at any time during flight. The parasol in Super Smash Bros. Melee has a unique white design similar to Super Mario Sunshine, but in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, it retains its Super Paper Mario design, though its colors change depending on Peach's alternate costume. Peach also uses the parasol for her up taunt and on-screen appearance from Brawl onward.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Peach Parasol can be customized to one of two custom variants, provided that they are found first. Parasol High Jump deals no damage and doesn't open the parasol, but it has Peach jump higher into the air. Light Parasol lacks vertical distance in the initial jump, but opening the parasol (up to four consecutive times) lifts Peach a bit higher.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, if this move is used while Peach is holding the Parasol item, the animation remains the same, but she uses the parasol item rather than her actual parasol.
