Seed Spitting Contest is a Bandit minibattle in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Yoshi and Bandit must duke it out with Watermelons. The introduction of it says:
- WATERMELON SEED SPITTING CONTEST
- Grab a watermelon and spit seeds at your enemy as fast as you can.
- Reduce your opponent's power meter to 0 to win!
- If you win, you will get a watermelon item!
The game starts with Yoshi next to a watermelon on a Vase. The player must lick up the watermelon and spit out seeds. The Bandit now has a Yoshi mask on, so he can spit seeds too. Yoshi must spit the seeds at the Bandit, who hides behind walls. At random, a Red Watermelon may come up, which can severely damage the opponent.
