These dog resembling creatures only appear in the Paper Mario games. The badge shop owner Rowf, and his son Rhuff, in east Toad Town in Paper Mario are the first Doogans. In Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door they're thugs seen around Rogueport and the Glitz Pit.
