History

Super Mario Galaxy

They appear in Freezeflame Galaxy where they are found in a lava area. The player can either defeat them with fireballs, or by tricking them into the lava.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

They behave exactly like previously. They are only found in Battle Belt Galaxy.
