Template:Recipe-Infobox The Fright Jar is an item found in Paper Mario. When utilized in battle, it may frighten enemies into retreating. Enemies defeated this way will not give Star Points, however. This item has no effect on bosses. Fright Jars can be bought at the Shroom Grocery.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Fright Jar was replaced by the Fright Mask.
