Bruce is a Bob-omb who lives in Koopa Village in Kooper's house due to the fact he was locked up in Koopa Bros. Fortress. Bruce loves Bombette so much he explodes for her-literally but she doesn't return the affection.
Mario had to stop Bruce from constantly exploding as a favor for Koopa Koot.
