Distinguish

We already have a template for "not to be confused by" notices: Template:Distinguish. Please use this when adding notices to articles next time.

Keep in mind that just because two subjects share similar words, that doesn't always necessitate a notice. Spring Fling/Fling Spring is an easy one since they're literally the words reversed (and so it's easy to confuse the two), but Ballistic Beach/Ballistic Bingo are only similar in alliteration and the word "Ballistic" but their names suggest different things/situations. Files

When uploading, remember to replace {{uncategorized}} with a category link (in the format "Category:(game) (file type)" in square brackets); in this case:

[[Category:Super Mario Party Jamboree media files]]

"media files" is just for audio and video files. For images, it should be "images", or more specifically "screenshots", "assets", "artwork" etc. depending on the type (like this). Mario JC 04:44, August 20, 2025 (EDT)

Hello, Pipro8049. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file into a subject category. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Album images Company images Film images Game images Internet images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Album media files Company media files Film media files Game media files Internet media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, images related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or one it its subcategories. Media files would use: [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Custom signature

If you wish to use a custom signature, a signature page needs to be created and used as the signature instead of raw code whenever you type ~~~~. Create the page first on User:Pipro8049/sig and paste the code there:

Comments / Moving files

Don't leave personal or placeholder comments (and signed) on public articles. You can just leave it blank.

Captured Mario's Castle Course

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Captured Mario's Castle Course). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article: Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can. Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style. Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article. Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

An article with just one sentence for where the subject appears is not substantial information. Please have enough info from the start (e.g. its composition style, its history if it has appeared in more games) and not start a bare-bones page and mark it as under construction so that it can be finished later. Then write it yourself if you want an accurate description, instead of deliberately leaving a placeholder for someone else to do it and then snidely parroting what I said when they attempt it themselves. Please read over MarioWiki:Not an archive before you upload more files. We don't need every single sound effect or voice clip from a game; only upload clips if they're going to serve some sort of meaningful purpose or illustrating something written on the article.
