Distinguish[edit]
We already have a template for "not to be confused by" notices: Template:Distinguish. Please use this when adding notices to articles next time.

Keep in mind that just because two subjects share similar words, that doesn't always necessitate a notice. Spring Fling/Fling Spring is an easy one since they're literally the words reversed (and so it's easy to confuse the two), but Ballistic Beach/Ballistic Bingo are only similar in alliteration and the word "Ballistic" but their names suggest different things/situations.

Files[edit]
When uploading, remember to replace {{uncategorized}} with a category link (in the format "Category:(game) (file type)" in square brackets); in this case:
[[Category:Super Mario Party Jamboree media files]]
Also, avoid naming or linking to sites that host music files like KHinsider; you can leave the source blank or replace it with the game title. Mario JC 02:49, August 20, 2025 (EDT)
"media files" is just for audio and video files. For images, it should be "images", or more specifically "screenshots", "assets", "artwork" etc. depending on the type (like this). Mario JC 04:44, August 20, 2025 (EDT)

Hello, Pipro8049. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file into a subject category. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, images related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or one it its subcategories. Media files would use: [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued.
